The Ministry of Finance issued a statement informing citizens, transaction holders, and auditors that "the Beirut Collection Department will temporarily stop receiving auditors during the period from Monday, July 27 to Wednesday, July 29 inclusive, due to its relocation to its new headquarters in the Ministry of Finance building - Corniche al-Nahr - Adliyeh Roundabout (ground floor).

This temporary closure comes to allow the completion of relocation, preparation, and reorganization work at the new headquarters, ensuring the smooth functioning of work and the continuity of providing services to citizens with better efficiency.

The Ministry hoped that citizens and all concerned parties "take note of this measure, and postpone their visits during the mentioned period, provided that their reception resumes immediately after the completion of the relocation work, within the specified deadline," noting that "the service of issuing receipts for indirect tax transactions and transfer fees will continue at the ministry building in Bashara al-Khouri throughout the temporary closure period, without any interruption."
