The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has commenced field preparations to implement a temporary crossing in the Tireh Falasieh area, as an alternative to the bridge that was destroyed due to Israeli airstrikes during the recent war. This is being done in coordination with the Litani River Authority and relevant parties.

Work began on-site with surveying, ground preparation, and compaction, along with necessary preparations leading up to the installation of pipes and the completion of the crossing implementation, in accordance with technical and hydraulic requirements that ensure the safety of the Litani River channel and its associated facilities.

The project aims to restore transit movement between the Saida, Zahrani, and Tyre districts areas, facilitating citizens' mobility and the transport of agricultural products and supplies, until the permanent bridge is rehabilitated and returned to service.
