The "Public Administration Employees" association carried out a sit-in in front of the Ministry of Industry as part of its escalating movements, demanding "forgotten rights such as fair salaries and a transportation allowance of no less than 10 liters per day."

Ra'ed Hamada, head of the Public Administration Employees Association, addressed his "colleagues," stating: "Our meeting today is not a casual encounter nor merely a protest stand; it is a solidarity gathering with our rights, an adherence to our dignity, and a renewal of the pledge that we will not retreat, will not surrender, and will not relinquish our rights regardless of how long time passes."

He added: "Since the beginning of the crisis, we have raised our voices high and declared our demands clearly. We remain true to our promise with you, steadfast in our positions, and committed to our principles. No leniency... No retreat... And no concession on our rights and the rights of our families. We want fair salaries, and this is not just a slogan. We want a fair transportation allowance... and this is not just a slogan.

We want a dignified life for public sector employees under all their job titles... and this is not just a slogan. And we want a fair retirement charter that preserves the right of everyone who served this state and spent their lives in its institutions... and this is not just a slogan.

He continued: "Today, we send a clear message to all concerned parties: We want a clear decision, swift implementation, and actual solutions, not new promises.

If procrastination continues, we are proceeding with our escalation steps, up to paralyzing work in state institutions, within responsible union movements, in defense of rights that we will not abandon."

He affirmed that the association "will remain by your side, carrying your demands, defending your rights, and will not deviate from this trust."
