President Aoun Congratulates President Tebboune on Algeria's Independence Anniversary

President Michel Aoun of Lebanon sent a message to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune congratulating him on the anniversary of Algeria's declaration of independence. He underscored the deep relationship between Lebanon and Algeria.

In the message, President Aoun stated, "On the occasion of the anniversary of the glorious declaration of independence, it pleases me, on my own behalf and on behalf of the Lebanese people, to extend to Your Excellency and to the brotherly Algerian people my warmest congratulations and sincerest wishes."

President Aoun added, "As we recall this cherished national occasion which embodies the sacrifices of the Algerian people in pursuit of freedom and sovereignty, we affirm our pride in the historic fraternal relations linking Lebanon and Algeria, and our firm commitment to strengthen and develop them across various fields for the benefit of both countries and peoples. We wish Your Excellency abundant health and wellness, and Algeria continued progress and prosperity."
