Republic President General Joseph Aoun inaugurated EXPERIA EXPO, the first interactive innovation expo in Lebanon, held at the Forum de Beyrouth. The event departs from traditional trade fair formats to offer an interactive environment allowing startups, decision-makers, institutions, and the public to test cutting-edge technological solutions.
Upon his arrival at the Forum, President Aoun was welcomed by Ministers of Displaced Persons and State for Technology and Artificial Intelligence Kamal Chehade, Tourism Laura Khazen Lahoud, Youth and Sports Nora Bayrakdarian, Social Affairs Haneen Sayed, Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny, Industry Joe Issa Al-Khoury, and Environment Tamara Zain, along with several MPs and the organizing team of the expo.
After the national anthem, the Republic President cut the ribbon of the expo, toured its halls, examined the exhibits, and listened to key explanations regarding the technological and technical innovations included.
The Republic President congratulated the organizers on their efforts in holding this expo. In a chat with attendees, President Aoun praised the importance of this expo in the current circumstances, affirming that Lebanon still occupies an important position in keeping pace with scientific and technological developments, particularly artificial intelligence and the latest programs in this framework. He noted that "societies that do not accompany development are rejected by history," stressing that the Lebanese who excel abroad in various fields are undoubtedly capable of reviving their homeland.
