The Palestinian refugees from Syria conducted a sit-in demonstration in front of the UNRWA headquarters in Shatila camp—Beirut, organized by the "Committee for the Defense of Palestinian Refugees' Rights in Lebanon," "Palestinian Activists from Syria in Beirut," and "F.S. Group," with participation from representatives of Palestinian factions, institutions, and civil society organizations.
Initially, Rami Mansour spoke on behalf of the "Committee for the Defense of Palestinian Refugees' Rights in Lebanon," addressing "UNRWA's policies regarding service reduction," and highlighting "the difficult conditions faced by residents," urging UNRWA to "establish an urgent relief program to alleviate crises for displaced persons."
