Salam Calls for Emergency Meeting to Address Food Poisoning and Adulteration

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam will hold an emergency meeting at the Grand Serail at 5:00 PM tomorrow, Monday, to discuss cases of food poisoning and suspicions of adulteration in food products.

The relevant ministers, the head of the Lebanese Food Safety Authority, and the Prosecutor General will participate in the meeting, which is dedicated to following up on measures taken and enhancing preventive and regulatory controls to ensure compliance with food safety standards and protect public health.
