Public Administration Employees' Union: Full Commitment to Strike on Wednesday and Thursday

Issued by the "Public Administration Employees' Union," a statement reaffirms the "essential demands" previously stated by the union and calls upon "all employees in the public administration and municipalities, and all affected by the government's disregard for the demand to raise transportation allowances, to fully commit to the strike on Wednesday and Thursday this week, with mandatory shutdowns every Friday, especially as fuel prices continue to rise in Lebanon, despite global oil declines, raising questions about integrity and transparency in gasoline pricing, and whether there are special gains for capital holders at the expense of citizens?"

The union also affirmed its intention to lead upcoming actions in the public sector and labor unions.

Additionally, the union expressed gratitude to "Member of Parliament Bلال Abdullah for adopting a proposal submitted by the union, which stipulates granting exceptional grades to individuals holding higher qualifications than those required for their positions."
