Qatar, France Discuss Lebanon Sovereignty

Mohammed bin Abdulaziz Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Foreign Ministry of Qatar, held talks with Jean-Yves Le Drian, the special envoy of the French President for Lebanon. The meeting focused on reviewing bilateral cooperation ties and exploring ways to strengthen them further.

Discussions also covered recent developments in Lebanon alongside various topics of mutual interest. Al-Khulaifi reaffirmed Qatar’s consistent support for the Lebanese people and their aspirations for development and prosperity. He emphasized that stability in Lebanon serves as a fundamental pillar for regional security.

The Qatari official stressed the necessity of respecting the complete sovereignty of the Lebanese Republic over its entire territory during the diplomatic exchange.
