Revenue Authority Seizes Smuggled and Counterfeit Tobacco Products in Southern Suburbs and New Road

The Lebanese Tobacco and Nicotine Control Authority (Reji) announced that its anti-smuggling unit has seized quantities of smuggled electronic cigarettes, smuggled and counterfeit flavored tobacco, and smuggled cigarettes, along with imported jinjib tobacco, following raids conducted in the southern suburbs, New Road, and Al-Ozayek.

Noting that these raids are part of its ongoing efforts to combat smuggled and counterfeit tobacco products, Reji stated that inspection reports have been filed against the offenders and are currently under review by the competent judicial authorities.
