Rubio and King Abdullah Discuss Hezbollah Disarmament and Syria Stability

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio held a conversation with Jordan's King Abdullah II covering several bilateral and regional issues, according to a statement by US State Department spokesperson Tommy Pigott.

The statement clarified that the discussion addressed, among other matters, the implementation of the tripartite framework in Lebanon, the disarmament of Hezbollah, and enhancing stability in Syria.

Rubio also expressed his gratitude to King Abdullah II for the steadfast role Jordan plays in promoting regional security and stability.
