Rubio: We hope that the negotiations between Israel and Lebanon will yield an action plan on security

US Secretary of State Marco Rubio expressed hope that the ongoing Israeli-Lebanese negotiations in Washington would yield an "action plan" on security in Lebanon.

Rubio told the House Foreign Affairs Committee, "We hope that today we can formulate a joint statement on an action plan, and on a path towards achieving security in this country, independent of Hezbollah and its harmful influence."
