Saddi: I Will Request Cancellation or Suspension of the 300,000 Fuel Levy

Energy and Water Minister Joe Saddi posted on "X": "Today's priority is the citizen and their ability to bear burdens; they must not be loaded with more amidst the significant rise in global oil prices and its local repercussions. Therefore, I will request at Thursday's cabinet session the cancellation of the 300,000 levy on fuels, or at least its suspension, especially since we objected to it from the beginning.

What is required today is to alleviate the burden on citizens."
