Salam Emphasizes Goal to Reach Agreement on IMF Program
Prime Minister Nawaf Salam highlighted the aim to promptly secure an agreement with the IMF to restore international confidence in Lebanon.

Prime Minister Nawaf Salam received the economic advisor to the special envoy of the French President to Lebanon, Jacques de La Guéji, in a meeting attended by the French Ambassador to Lebanon, Hervé Magro.
The discussion focused on the progress achieved in the financial and economic reform process.
Salam stated, "Our objective remains unchanged, which is to reach an agreement on a program with the International Monetary Fund as quickly as possible. This is not merely an end in itself, but a necessary step to restore international confidence in Lebanon and to open the way for the country to access urgently needed international funding sources."
