Saudi Foreign Minister Asaad Al-Sheibani briefed those he met on the achievements of the new Syrian administration regarding internal security, the return of Syrians, and the beginning of a recovery phase following years of prolonged conflict, according to information from Al-Jadeed channel.

Al-Sheibani reiterated to Lebanese President Joseph Aoun the stance of Syrian President Ahmad Al-Sharaa, emphasizing Syria's rejection of military intervention in Lebanon. He noted that both countries share two main concerns: the Israeli threat and the priority of reconstruction.

The information further indicated that Al-Sheibani affirmed Lebanon and Syria share identical security worries about the ongoing Israeli occupation in southern Lebanon and southern Syria. However, he did not address the details of the framework agreement, considering it an internal matter.
