Significant Drop in Temperatures and Dense Fog on Lebanese Highlands
The Lebanese Meteorological Department forecasts partly cloudy weather with dense fog on the highlands, a noticeable drop in inland temperatures, and scattered rain chances.

The Estimation Department at the Civil Aviation Directorate's Meteorological Service predicted that tomorrow's weather will be partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with fog on the highlands and a drop in temperatures inland, with no significant change over the mountains and on the coast. There are slight chances for scattered rain, lightning, and thunder, along with active winds starting from noon, especially in mountainous and inland areas.
The bulletin stated the following:
-General Situation: Unstable autumnal and rainy weather due to the influence of a low-pressure system accompanied by relatively cold air masses centered north of Greece, which is gradually approaching. This leads to rainfall with chances of forming thunder cells today Tuesday and Thursday, particularly with hailfall, active winds, and a drop in temperatures. Its influence continues until Friday afternoon, after which the weather gradually stabilizes towards the end of the week, only to become unstable again from Sunday evening.
Average temperatures for October: Beirut 21 and 29 degrees, Tripoli between 20 and 28 degrees, Zahle between 13 and 27 degrees.
-Expected Weather in Lebanon:
Tuesday: Generally cloudy with low cumulus clouds and a noticeable drop in temperatures, which fall below seasonal averages. Dense fog forms on the highlands, reducing visibility. Scattered rains occur, sometimes heavy from noon onwards, accompanied by thunderstorms and active winds with a possibility of hail.
Wednesday: Partly cloudy to occasionally cloudy with fog on the highlands and a drop in temperatures inland, with no significant change over the mountains and on the coast. Slight chances for scattered rain, lightning, and thunder, along with active winds starting from noon, especially in mountainous and inland areas.

The weather turns cloudy in the evening with heavy rains, thunderstorms, and active winds that sometimes intensify, reaching speeds of 65 km/h. Sea waves rise accordingly.
Friday: Cloudy to partly cloudy with a drop in temperatures and fog on the highlands. Scattered rains occur, sometimes intensifying during the morning period with lightning, thunder, and active winds reaching speeds of 60 km/h.
