Smuggled Cosmetics Seized in Residential Apartment
Lebanese customs seized large quantities of smuggled Botox and fillers in a residential apartment, arresting the suspect amid ongoing investigations into the distribution network.

The General Directorate of Customs announced in a statement that "the Anti-Smuggling Division seized large quantities of smuggled cosmetic medical products, particularly 'Botox' and 'Fillers', inside a residential apartment occupied by a commercial company. The operation followed surveillance, monitoring, and tracking that led to identifying the location and raiding it based on instructions from the competent judiciary.
The inspection revealed large quantities of these products illegally imported into Lebanon, with doubts regarding their source, transport conditions, and storage, and consequently their safety for use. Especially since the nature of these materials and their method of application make any violation of import or storage conditions a matter directly related to citizens' health.
The smuggled quantities were seized, and the offender was taken to the center, where investigations were completed under the supervision of the competent judiciary, resulting in his arrest.
Investigations are still ongoing to trace the source of these products, their entry route, and distribution, as well as to uncover all threads of the network and identify other involved parties in preparation for their prosecution and arrest.
This operation falls within the framework of the campaign that the General Directorate of Customs continues to implement to combat smuggling in various regions, particularly violations related to medicines, cosmetics, and substances that may affect citizen health and safety."
