An Iraqi man who posed as a security attaché at the Iraqi embassy in Beirut has been arrested.
Beirut’s intelligence branch has arrested an Iraqi national, Tariq al-Husseini, for impersonating a security official at the Iraqi embassy, a military source told Al-Hadath. The suspect is accused of building an extensive network of contacts with security and political figures in Lebanon, deceiving Lebanese officers into believing he held a senior security post at the embassy.
