Israeli Army Announces Targeting 25 Hezbollah Targets Within 24 Hours

The Israeli army announced that its air force conducted several airstrikes on buildings used by Hezbollah for military purposes in southern Lebanon, targeting about 25 Hezbollah targets within the last 24 hours.

The Israeli army announced that "the Air Force, under the direction of the 226th Brigade forces, launched yesterday (Tuesday) several airstrikes on buildings used by Hezbollah for military purposes in southern Lebanon, in order to support the forces operating under the command of the 146th Division, where these buildings were targeted while Hezbollah elements were working inside them on planning and executing schemes against the Israeli army and Israel. The airstrikes resulted in the killing of a number of elements."

He added: "During the last twenty-four hours, the Israeli army attacked about 25 targets belonging to Hezbollah, including a warehouse of combat means, buildings used by the organization for military purposes, and additional infrastructure. During the past night, the Air Force intercepted a suspicious aerial target that was spotted in the area where the Israeli army is operating in southern Lebanon. A short while ago, an interceptor missile was launched towards another aerial target with which contact was lost. According to the adopted policy, alerts were not activated."

He concluded: "Hezbollah also launched, in separate incidents that occurred during the last hours, several rocket-propelled grenades, booby-trapped drones, and mortar shells that fell near the forces. No casualties were recorded among our forces.
