Employees of the Sidon Serail continued their protest actions for the second consecutive week, rejecting the government's neglect to pay the salary increases approved for public sector employees last February.
While the Departments of Labor and the Cooperative continued their work as usual due to legal and health necessities, the remaining departments renewed "their commitment to the association's decision requiring them to continue attending their workplaces while refraining from performing their job duties on Wednesdays and Thursdays, and moving forward with all means to compel the government and relevant parties to pay the six-fold salary increases approved for them."
