Alannah Keyser has been dismissed from Love Island USA after videos of her using a racial slur resurfaced online, marking the second firing this season for such conduct.

Peacock has confirmed the dismissal of Alannah Keyser from Love Island USA after videos emerged showing her lip-syncing to a song containing the n-word. This marks the second contestant removed this season due to the use of this racial slur.
Alannah Keyser was removed from Love Island USA following the circulation of a racist post in which she used the N-word, according to Variety. The videos, initially shared on private social media accounts, gained public attention only after her appearance on the show.
After the video resurfaced, Keyser encountered significant backlash, leading the show's producers to act promptly. She appeared during the first 20 minutes of the episode aired on Thursday, spending time with her partner Zach Georgiou before her departure.
The show's narrator, Iain Stirling, announced her exit with the statement, “Alannah has left Casa Amor.” Her removal follows the earlier firing of Vasana Montgomery, who was dismissed before the eighth season began.
The Love Island USA franchise has faced multiple controversies regarding racial slurs. In the seventh season last year, Yulissa Escobar was removed for using the n-word. Later in the same season, Cierra Ortega was dismissed for using a racial slur against Asians, though Ortega claimed she was unaware it was offensive.
The decision to remove Keyser was met with approval online. One viewer commented, “BYE HENNI YOU WON’T BE MISSED.” Another wrote, “Every season somebody forgets that reality TV producers aren’t the only ones doing background checks. The internet got a whole investigation unit on standby.”
Additional comments included, “lmao I don’t even watch this show but just glad they’re not giving a racist b**ch a platform!!!” and “We’re not gonna miss or talk about her anyway so it’s better that she is out now. I still think she should address it tho.”
