Rumors regarding the misappropriation of funds by her parents were firmly rejected by Charli D’Amelio, who addressed growing speculation surrounding the family enterprise. The social media figure discussed her decision to decouple her professional and financial life from Marc and Heidi D’Amelio following a long period of collaborative work.

Response to offshore money rumors

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, D’Amelio confronted accusations concerning how her income was managed. These claims first surfaced in May via gossip platform Deuxmoi. In June, Marc D’Amelio issued a denial through a TikTok video, stating he lacked the technical knowledge to execute such transactions. He emphasized that their shared history was defined by experience rather than financial gain.

D’Amelio directly answered inquiries about whether her parents mishandled her assets. She stated the allegations were untrue and explicitly denied any theft. After a brief pause, she acknowledged that the family had undertaken numerous joint ventures over the years.

Viral clip sparks further scrutiny

Public interest peaked in September following an appearance on Quenlin Blackwell’s YouTube series, Feeding Starving Celebrities. When asked about revenue generated from merchandise sales, D’Amelio responded with uncertainty, noting she did not know the exact figures. This exchange circulated widely online, drawing comparisons to other celebrity family disputes.

Shift toward independent management

The creator began working full-time at age 15 but only started gaining financial literacy around age 21. She now oversees her own accounts and operates independently from the family business structure. In December, she ended her partnership with former manager Greg Goodfried. Previously, she shared most professional endeavors with her parents and sister Dixie. Recently, however, mutual Instagram unfollows occurred between D’Amelio and her parents. Marc indicated that current communication occurs exclusively through her legal representation.

Future projects and family ties

Despite strained relations, D’Amelio affirmed her enduring love for her sister, describing it as lifelong. She noted that personal growth often involves navigating complex family dynamics. Looking ahead, she intends to dedicate the remainder of 2026 to initiatives that bring her pride. A significant project announcement is scheduled for November.
