In a personal essay, the model and actress discussed her experiences with motherhood, heartbreak, and moving forward, while also addressing allegations made against her former husband after their divorce.

Motherhood’s Impact on Ratajkowski and Bear-McClard’s Marriage

Emily described the arrival of her son Sylvester in March 2021 as a “violent transition into a new reality of screaming baby on my aching tit and ring on my swollen finger,” according to The Cut.

She noted that this transition affected her marriage significantly.

“Six months after my son was born, my husband and I stopped having sex,” Ratajkowski wrote. “Less than a year later, we separated.”

The couple had been married since 2018 and separated in 2022, with Emily filing for divorce in September of that year.

Allegations Against Bear-McClard After Separation

Following their separation, reports from Page Six indicated that sources accused Sebastian Bear-McClard of repeated infidelity during the marriage. One insider described him as “a serial cheater” and “a dog.”

RadarOnline also cited an insider who alleged the filmmaker had cheated “numerous times.” Sebastian has not made any public statements regarding these claims.

Ratajkowski on Public Perception and Dating After Divorce

Emily reflected on how the divorce altered public perception of her, expressing discomfort with being pitied or seen as “someone who was unwanted, who had been left.”

She shared that prior to marrying Sebastian, she had never engaged in a one-night stand and had been with only eight men, including four live-in boyfriends.

After the divorce, she sought to redefine herself, stating, “I decided to f–k my way into a new kind of woman,” aiming to discard the “good girl” image she had maintained for years.

According to RadarOnline, Emily dated a diverse group of men, such as a vegan graffiti artist, a DJ, a chef, a billionaire’s son, and a Spanish Gen-Z man. Ultimately, she found these encounters unfulfilling and concluded that “being alone was better than most partnerships.”

In a separate 2023 investigation by Variety, Sebastian Bear-McClard faced accusations of sexual misconduct and inappropriate behavior involving underage girls. His spokesperson declined to comment on these allegations.
