Kai Trump, Donald Trump’s granddaughter and golfer, shared a hospital photo revealing she underwent surgery to repair a wrist injury sustained during her first tournament of the season.

A hospital bed selfie featuring an arm in a sling has revealed that Kai Trump recently underwent surgery. The social media personality and golfer, who is the granddaughter of Donald Trump, disclosed the procedure on Instagram to update her nearly 3 million followers.
The 19-year-old explained that the operation was necessary to “repair” a wrist injury. She sustained this damage while competing in her first golf tournament of the current season, specifically the 2026 Golfweek Fall Classic held from September 6 to 8.
In the image, Kai appears lying down with her wrist wrapped. She noted that she had initially planned to avoid the surgery. However, consultations with her coaches, parents, and athletic staff helped her decide to proceed to ensure her future in the game.
“Recovery will take time, but I’m incredibly fortunate to be surrounded by amazing people who continue to lift me up, encourage me, and remind me that every challenge is an opportunity to grow,” Kai stated in her note.
Comments on the post were filled with well-wishes from fans. One user wrote, “Speedy and fastest recovery Kai Trump Ma’am. I’m praying for you.
