Kelly Dodd, previously featured on Real Housewives of Orange County, is currently involved in a legal case concerning revenge porn, facing three misdemeanor charges, one of which is battery. She has publicly expressed that she finds the accusations unfounded and recently provided an update on her situation.

Kelly Dodd Clarifies Legal Stance on Charges

During an appearance on SiriusXM’s Jeff Lewis Live, Dodd discussed the revenge porn allegations while adhering to a gag order that limits what she can disclose. When host Jeff Lewis inquired about the case, Dodd responded with visible frustration but addressed the matter directly.

She stated, “What TMZ is alleging is complete and utter bullsh*t. The DA did not suggest that at all.” She further explained that the claim she took pornographic photos of someone engaging in sex is inaccurate. “That’s not even what happened. Like at all. And I’m not pleading guilty,” Dodd confirmed. “I know my lawyer said these charges will be dismissed.”

Jeff Lewis added context by noting his understanding that Dodd did not record or photograph anyone without consent. He questioned whether the circulated image might have been sent to her voluntarily by the person depicted.

Dodd refrained from elaborating further due to legal restrictions, prompting Jeff to infer details based on his prior knowledge of the case. He revealed that the allegation involves someone allegedly taking a photo of themselves and sending it to Dodd. Both Jeff and Jamie Kennedy, who was present during the broadcast, expressed skepticism about Dodd facing legal trouble if that is accurate.

Jeff concluded, “That’s why it’s going to get dismissed.” Dodd added, “This is so crazy. How this bullsh*t is like happening to me, like in the weirdest way. Like, I don’t get it. I don’t understand it. Like I just, I feel like I have a black cloud over me.”
