Kelly Dodd suggests The Real Housewives of Orange County may conclude after its twentieth season while facing legal charges.

Amid the upcoming twentieth season of The Real Housewives of Orange County (RHOC), Kelly Dodd has voiced her belief that the series could be ending. Her comments followed the release of the promotional image for the new season.
In the promotional photo for Season 20, the cast members are dressed entirely in black, which Kelly interpreted as a possible indication of the show’s demise. On Instagram, she questioned, “Is this irony? I don’t know. Is this the demise?” and added, “Is this the funeral?” She concluded with the statement, “This is the end,” suggesting she expects the series will not continue past this season.
While acknowledging the show’s successful run, Kelly also directed criticism at Heather Dubrow, telling her to “go back to her sh*thole of LA.” The two have a history of conflicts during Kelly’s five seasons on RHOC, including a notable altercation at a sushi party in Season 11. Kelly accused Heather of causing her exit from the show, a claim Heather has denied.
Kelly clarified that she does not feel jealousy toward her former co-stars and described her remarks about the promo as ironic.
Kelly Dodd is currently facing multiple misdemeanor charges, including battery, related to an alleged revenge porn case. She was charged last month with distributing a photo of a “Jane Doe” engaged in sexual activity without consent, allegations she denies. According to a legal expert, establishing “intent” will be a critical factor for prosecutors in this matter.
The twentieth season of RHOC is set to premiere on July 9, with episodes available for streaming on Peacock.
