Nicole Kidman fronts the twelfth cover of Vogue Australia wearing a strapless black tweed micro minidress from Chanel’s Resort 2027 collection.

The Australian edition of Vogue features Nicole Kidman in its latest issue, marking her twelfth appearance on the magazine's cover. The shoot highlights Chanel’s Resort 2027 collection, which is being presented in Australia for the first time. Kidman appears in a strapless black mini dress that maintains a fitted silhouette as she leans forward toward the camera.
The garment is constructed from textured black tweed, accented by ivory trim along both the neckline and the hem. This white edging provides a crisp finish to the dark fabric. A scalloped black edge defines the top of the bodice, sitting just above a band of white trim. The design leaves the shoulders and arms exposed, emphasizing the cut of the dress.
Kidman accessorized the look with a black beanie-style cap featuring a white double-C logo and cream piping around the rim. Her blonde hair, styled with a wet-look effect, emerges from beneath the snug-fitting headpiece. The cap aligns with the coastal theme of the collection and the beach setting of the photoshoot. In runway presentations, this specific dress was paired with a gold CC belt, a blue mini bag, and black rubber thigh-high boots with yellow soles.
The makeup applied for the shoot remains soft and natural, highlighted by a warm brick-red lip color. Two distinct poses are captured: one where Kidman faces the lens with extended arms, and another showing her in profile with slightly parted lips. The visual composition relies on a bright white backdrop, allowing the black-and-white palette of the outfit to stand out graphically.
