During a recent Instagram promotion for a new highlighter from Kylie Cosmetics, Kylie Jenner wore a minidress constructed from cosmetic compacts that led to unexpected reactions from her followers.

Fan Reactions to Jenner’s Cosmetic Product Dress

Jenner’s promotional photos featured her against a white backdrop, showcasing a mini dress composed entirely of cosmetic compacts. However, many fans mistook the compacts for condoms due to their appearance, sparking humorous and critical comments.

The Instagram post included a caption encouraging followers to try the new natural blur brightening powder, stating: “soft, smooth, summer-ready skin…apply our NEW natural blur brightening powder with brush 05 under the eyes or anywhere on the face you want to brighten.Available now at kyliecosmetics.com and @ultabeauty!”

Despite the intended focus on the makeup product, the dress attracted the most attention. One user asked, “Is that a condom Dress lol?” while another admitted, “Had to do a double take; I thought those were condoms.” Some comments poked fun at the marketing approach, with one calling it “Peak marketing.”

Other fans shifted their attention to Jenner’s appearance, noting discrepancies in skin tone between her face and body in one photo. Comments included, “In the last picture her face is white, the rest of her body tan,” and “White face, tan body. Is this what we’re doing now?” Conversely, some followers complimented her look, saying, “You’re looking gorgeous like always.”

Jenner has a history of bold and theatrical marketing campaigns for Kylie Cosmetics, including a Batman-themed Halloween collection and reviving her “King Kylie” persona, demonstrating her preference for unconventional promotional strategies.
