Markle Eyes Tell-All Memoir from Secret Diaries

Meghan Markle is reportedly preparing to convert her long-maintained personal diaries into a tell-all memoir. This potential move follows the significant media attention generated by Charles Spencer’s new book about Princess Diana. The Duchess of Sussex has allegedly documented her experiences and memories for years, waiting for an opportune moment to publish these private writings.

Diary Habits and Publisher Talks

A report by New Idea suggests Markle might follow a similar path to Spencer’s “Swan Song: Diana, My Sister,” which has created buzz since its release. An insider stated that the Duchess never forgets incidents and keeps detailed notes on bad or humiliating situations for future reflection. She occasionally records her thoughts in selfie videos, according to the same source.

The insider described Markle as someone who believes she is part of history and treats herself accordingly. She has been in discussions with publishers, and a deal may already be under consideration. The source noted that Markle is waiting for the controversy surrounding the Spencer book to subside before proceeding.

Timing and Previous Publications

Markle also intends to assess the reception of the third Angela Kelly book during this period. She is using her current time in the UK to advance the project, viewing the location as an opportunity to share her story. This approach aligns with her previous engagement in public storytelling.

Prince Harry previously published his own memoir, titled “Spare,” which achieved considerable success. Additionally, the couple shared their experiences through the Netflix documentary “Harry and Meghan.” These prior projects indicate Markle is not unfamiliar with the concept of releasing a tell-all account.
