According to a May 22 report from The Daily Mail, some invitees have been informed they cannot bring a plus one to the ceremony. An unnamed source shared their experience, stating, “My invite did not let me bring a plus one.”

The individual expressed discomfort about attending alone, saying, “I mean, what am I supposed to do? Go alone? That is so awkward.” They further mentioned uncertainty about knowing many attendees, adding, “I don’t think I am going to attend because I don’t want to go by myself, and I am not sure I will know too many people there. I mean, sorry, I am not friends with Gigi and Bella Hadid!”

The source described the rule as unfair, noting that it appears to apply only to certain guests. They highlighted that Selena Gomez is permitted to bring her husband, Benny Blanco, while they, as a single woman, are not allowed a plus one. They acknowledged that venue capacity might be a factor but still found the situation unpleasant.
