A chance encounter at a bingo hall in Palm Beach led to an unexpected and heartfelt meeting between Sonja Morgan, Bethenny Frankel, and Ramona Singer. The former Real Housewives of New York City cast members reunited without cameras or production pressures, creating a moment of genuine connection that Morgan later detailed on the Call Her Daddy podcast.

The unscripted nature of the gathering

Morgan appeared alongside Luann de Lesseps for a conversation with host Alex Cooper about their time on the Bravo series. During the interview, she recounted how the three women crossed paths recently. She emphasized that the meeting was entirely spontaneous, noting that she rarely sees either Frankel or Singer by accident.

“I never run into Ramona. I never run into Bethany. So, I’m at Bingo,” Morgan stated while describing her location in Palm Beach. She explained that she sat facing the bar to maintain a low profile, as she tends to be reclusive in public settings. Meanwhile, Ramona Singer occupied her usual table, adorned with jewelry and palm-leaf accessories.

According to Morgan, Frankel appeared unexpectedly during this session. Before confirming the unplanned nature of the visit, Luann de Lesseps playfully questioned whether the reunion was truly accidental, suggesting she knew the group’s habits. Morgan clarified that Frankel approached her directly to ask if she was aware of Singer’s presence at the venue.

Emotional impact of camera-free interaction

The absence of filming equipment allowed for a raw and authentic exchange among the three women. Morgan described the experience as highly emotional for all parties involved. She attributed this intensity to the removal of the professional demands associated with producing 22 episodes under pressure.

“So, she got very emotional. So did I. So did Ramona. Because when you don’t have cameras on you and you’re not trying to put out 22 episodes under the pressure, you you just love each other. We’ll always love each other. The thing about us is we’re very unfiltered,” Morgan said.

Frankel and Morgan shared screen time across six seasons of The Real Housewives of New York City, specifically appearing together in Seasons 3, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11. Their dynamic on the show was frequently characterized by a complex mix of friendship and rivalry, often described by fans as frenemy chemistry.
