Police arrested two women in Eskişehir who stole 168,000 lira and valuable items from two homes; they were subsequently detained by the court.

Security forces in Eskişehir have detained two female suspects identified as A.Ç. and G.Ç. following a series of residential burglaries. The investigation revealed that the pair targeted two separate houses, making off with 168,000 Turkish lira in cash alongside various precious ornaments.

During the police operation, officers recovered the full amount of the missing cash along with several pieces of jewelry. The seized items included an alliance ring, a diamond ring, a necklace, and two pairs of earrings. These physical evidences were deemed crucial to the ongoing inquiry into the thefts.

Investigative efforts led to the identification of the suspects through security camera recordings. The footage captured the moments when the two women entered the apartment buildings with the intent to commit burglary. This visual evidence corroborated the findings of the Asayiş Şube Müdürlüğü Hırsızlık Büro Amirliği teams, who had launched a probe after homeowners reported the loss of their valuables.

After being taken into custody, both women were transferred to the courthouse for legal proceedings. The presiding judge ordered their imprisonment, resulting in their transfer to a correctional facility. The case highlights the swift response of local law enforcement in resolving property crimes involving significant financial losses.
