HBO and Sam Levinson Confirm ‘Euphoria’ Will End After Season 3
HBO and Sam Levinson have confirmed that the drama series ‘Euphoria’ will conclude after its third season, ending the show’s run.

The acclaimed drama series featuring Zendaya, Sydney Sweeney, Jacob Elordi, Alexa Demie, Maude Apatow, and Colman Domingo has officially wrapped up with its third season finale, which will also serve as the series finale.
Confirmation of the show’s conclusion came through Variety following an announcement by Sam Levinson during an appearance on The New York Times’ Popcast podcast with hosts Joe Coscarelli and Jon Caramanica.
Although the news aligns with prior speculation, it had not been formally confirmed until now. Levinson had previously expressed that he approaches each season as if it might be the last, without committing to a definitive end.
In an interview with The New York Times before the third season aired, Levinson explained, “I’ve written every season like it’s the last season, because I was never sure if they were going to pick it up again.”
When asked about the possibility of a fourth season, he stated, “If inspiration strikes and I have an idea, then I’ll talk to HBO. If it makes sense, it makes sense. But it’s such a long shoot and we put so much into it, from every department — costumes, production design, editorial, cinematography. We just want to get this season right. So if this is it, great. If there’s more …”
Levinson added, “I don’t know. I mean, I’m not… As of right now, all I want to do is hang out with my wife and kids and read some Elmore Leonard and watch Mrs. Miniver again.”
