Nidhi Tiwari, an Indian content creator with over 1.6 million followers, died on Saturday, September 26, local police confirmed. Her body was discovered the next morning at her residence in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh.

Circumstances leading to death

Tiwari resided with her mother and sister, building a large audience across Facebook and Instagram through lifestyle content and dance videos. She had also participated in local beauty pageants, earning the title Miss Pretty India in January 2024, according to Need To Know.

Reports indicate that around 8 pm on Saturday, Tiwari engaged in a telephone argument with an unidentified individual. Following this call, she reportedly entered her bedroom, locked the door, and declined to eat. She asked her family members to leave her alone.

Final online messages

In the hours preceding her death, Tiwari posted several updates on Facebook. One final message, translated from Hindi, focused on self-love and internal fulfillment: “No one has fulfilled this incomplete heart, I have completed it with myself, that is why it is said to love yourself, not someone else, search yourself in yourself, someone else, how long will you search for yourself?”

Police investigation underway

When Tiwari did not respond to her family the following morning, relatives alerted authorities. Officers arrived at the property and found her deceased inside the room. Morwa Police have launched an investigation into the incident.

The inquiry includes a post-mortem examination and a review of activity on her mobile phone. Police have not released additional details regarding the specific circumstances surrounding her death.
