Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk stated that the teenager responsible for a knife attack at a school in Leszno-Nowiny recorded the incident. Speaking at the start of a special meeting, Tusk noted that the assailant wore a helmet equipped with a camera, indicating an intent to document the violence.
Tusk expressed deep sorrow while offering condolences to the family of the woman who died as a result of the attack. He highlighted the tragic loss of a mother who left behind two children.
Reports from Thursday confirmed that a stabbing occurred at a school in the town of Leszno-Nowiny, located in the Masovia province. The initial incident injured three individuals, including the school’s principal and a cleaning staff member.
The cleaning worker subsequently succumbed to her injuries. Authorities identified the attacker as a 17-year-old graduate of the same institution.
This event follows another knife attack that took place last Wednesday near a school in Ostroleka. That incident resulted in nine injuries, with two victims sustaining serious wounds. One of those injured was a teacher.
Police also announced that they thwarted a similar planned attack in Serock.
