Actor James Handy was fatally stabbed at his Tarzana home; suspect called police hours before arrest claiming to be the Son of Man.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the death of veteran actor James Handy, known for his roles in "Jumanji" and "Top Gun: Maverick," after he was stabbed at his residence in the Tarzana area.
On Wednesday, authorities received a call from the suspect himself, who identified during the call as "the Son of Man," a title mentioned in the Bible and sometimes associated with Christ.
During the phone call, the suspect stated, "I have killed the man of sin." Upon police arrival at the scene, they found Handy, aged 81, unconscious in the front yard of his home with multiple stab wounds to his chest. He was transported to a hospital but later died.
The suspect, Michael Glide Hill, 44, who is the son of the victim's girlfriend, was arrested after he voluntarily identified himself to officers as the person wanted in connection with the case. Glide Hill had been living with his mother at the victim's residence at the time of the attack. He has been charged with murder, and his bail was set at two million dollars.
James Handy began his acting career in the 1970s and appeared in approximately 150 productions. Among his notable recent roles were the waiter "Jimmy" in "Top Gun: Maverick" and the exterminator in the 1995 classic "Jumanji." He also featured in popular television series such as "The West Wing," "Criminal Minds," and "The X-Files."
