Barcelona defeats Osasuna and approaches clinching the "La Liga" title

Barcelona is now just one point away from clinching the Spanish football league title "La Liga", after defeating its host Osasuna 2-1 on Saturday evening, in matchday 34 of the competition.

Barcelona scored the opening goal through Robert Lewandowski in the 81st minute, then Ferran Torres added the second goal in the 86th minute.

And in the 89th minute, Raúl García scored Osasuna's only goal in the match.

Barcelona raised its points tally to 88 points in first place, 14 points ahead of Real Madrid, who is in second place and will later today, Sunday, face its host Espanyol in the same matchday.

If Real Madrid defeats Espanyol, Barcelona will only need a draw or a victory against its traditional rival in the Spanish football Clasico in the next matchday, to officially clinch the title.

On the other hand, Osasuna's points tally froze at 42 points in tenth place.
