Garmin Enduro 4 launches with 90-day solar battery life
Garmin unveiled the Enduro 4 smartwatch, featuring up to 90 days of battery life in smartwatch mode with solar charging and enhanced navigation tools.

Up to 90 days of battery life in smartwatch mode is now possible with the newly launched Garmin Enduro 4, provided users utilize its solar charging capabilities. The outdoor-focused timepiece also delivers up to 320 hours of operation in activity mode under solar-assisted conditions, specifically designed for long expeditions and endurance events where access to power sources may be scarce.

The device features a 1.4-inch MIP display protected by a solar-charging lens. Power-management modes allow users to balance location accuracy against extended runtime during lengthy activities. Garmin has integrated new training tools tailored for variable terrain, including pace guidance adjusted for gradients and dynamic average pace calculations that account for climbs and descents. Stamina metrics are derived from an athlete’s specific activity and training history.
Navigation performance upgrades

Enhanced navigation stands out as a primary focus of this update. According to Garmin, the Enduro 4 contains 50% more RAM than its predecessor, the Enduro 3, resulting in map panning speeds that are approximately 30% faster. The watch supports TopoActive maps across multiple continents, along with turn-by-turn navigation, ClimbPro, NextFork, and dynamic round-trip routing.
Hardware specifications
The Enduro 4 houses a 51mm case equipped with a titanium bezel and a Power Sapphire lens. It offers 10 ATM water resistance and weighs 66g. An integrated LED flashlight provides both white and red light options. The ComfortFit fabric strap utilizes the QuickFit system for easy changes. Internal storage capacity reaches 64GB, accommodating maps, music, and other data files.
New connectivity features
A new feature called Garmin Epic allows users to combine activities completed over days, weeks, or months into a single Garmin Connect story. This tool aggregates health and performance data while enabling users to add photos and share their adventures. The Enduro 4 extends Garmin’s endurance-oriented lineup following the Fenix 9, emphasizing battery life, trail tools, and map performance rather than conventional smartwatch features. International pricing and release timing have not been confirmed in the available information.
