Huawei Watch D3 Launches with CE-Certified 24-Hour Blood Pressure

Huawei has introduced three new smartwatch families and a pair of wireless earbuds, headlined by the Watch D3 — a device engineered specifically for medical-grade blood pressure tracking. The watch received CE marking under the EU Medical Device Regulation for its 24-hour ambulatory monitoring capability, including automatic nighttime measurements, manual readings, and pre- and post-exercise assessments.

Watch GT 7 Series: Ski Tracking and Outdoor Intelligence

The Watch GT 7 lineup comprises two models — the GT 7 and GT 7 Pro — offered in multiple sizes and finishes. The standard GT 7 comes in 46mm and 41mm variants across eight color options, including Yellow, Blue, and Pink. The GT 7 Pro is available in Yellow, Green, and Black, featuring a nano-tech ceramic bezel and titanium-alloy middle frame.

Both models support indoor skiing and snowboarding modes that automatically detect activity and record distance, speed, and total descent without GPS. Users can download maps for more than 3,000 ski resorts via the HUAWEI Health app. A Team-Up function enables real-time location and performance tracking among group members on the slopes, enhancing safety during shared outings.

The GT 7 series distinguishes active runs from lift time, while the Pro adds Turn Detection and G-Force detection to analyze turning dynamics. Cycling enhancements include climb planning, real-time ascent data, sharp-turn alerts, and AI Workout Analysis that interprets training metrics to help users avoid overtraining.

Health Insights now includes a morning briefing and a Physical Readiness score — derived from sleep quality, heart rate variability, emotional state, and calories burned — yielding one of five recovery levels. Battery life for the 46mm GT 7 and GT 7 Pro is rated at up to 21 days under light usage conditions.

Watch 6 Line: Smart Features and Expanded Health Tools

The Watch 6 series adopts a broader smartwatch profile, with 42mm and 46mm models. Finishes include Black Stainless Steel and Blue Stainless Steel for the 46mm version; Silver Aluminum Alloy with a White strap and Gold Aluminum Alloy with a Pink strap for the 42mm variant.

The Watch 6 Pro expands further with 43mm and 46mm options, including a 46mm Space Edition, a 43mm all-ceramic model, and an 18K gold-accented Ceramic Edition.

This line supports over 100 workout modes, eSIM-based calling, Safety Check, contactless payments, and a new wrist-rotation gesture. Health Glance now covers 11 metrics, and Healthy Living integrates diet tracking with exercise, sleep, and mood monitoring.

FreeBuds Neo: Adaptive ANC and Cross-Platform Audio

The FreeBuds Neo earbuds launch in Stellar Silver, Nebula Pink, Ice White, and Starry Black. Each unit weighs approximately 4.8g. Huawei redesigned their shape using ear-fit data to improve long-term wear comfort.

They deliver adaptive noise cancellation rated up to 30dB, feature a new Turbo driver, support spatial audio, and transmit lossless audio at up to 2.3Mbps when paired with compatible Huawei devices. Dual-device connectivity works across Android, iOS, and Windows platforms.

Pricing and UK Availability Schedule

In the UK, the Watch GT 7 starts at £279.99 (~$378), with the GT 7 Pro beginning at £379.99 (~$513). Pre-orders open on September 2.

The Watch D3 and Watch 6 both start at £399.99 (~$540); the Watch 6 Pro begins at £599.99 (~$810); and the FreeBuds Neo are priced at £119.99 (~$162). All four products — D3, Watch 6, Watch 6 Pro, and FreeBuds Neo — will be available starting September 23.
