Leaked footage has surfaced showing the iPhone 18 Pro undergoing internal drop tests conducted by Apple prior to its official release. These videos offer the first glimpse of the phone’s design, including a new color option, as well as insight into Apple's durability testing procedures.

The videos attracted significant attention after being posted on an X account formerly managed by well-known tech leaker Evan Blass. However, Blass later denied any connection to the leak, stating he neither runs the account nor is involved with the videos. The identity of the source behind the leak remains unknown.

New Color and Design Features of iPhone 18 Pro

The clips display the iPhone 18 Pro in a silver finish, featuring flat edges and a rear camera module with three large lenses arranged in Apple’s characteristic triangular layout. The module also includes an LED flash and a LiDAR sensor. The Apple logo is centered on the back cover.

The phone appears to have passed multiple consecutive drop tests without visible structural damage. However, the videos do not reveal whether any internal damage occurred during these tests.

The design shown closely resembles that of the iPhone 17 Pro. Leaks suggest Apple will maintain the current design identity while making limited enhancements to the camera module and rear design.

Testing Timeline and Expected Release

The videos are dated early 2026, indicating that the device shown is likely a prototype intended for internal testing rather than the final retail version.

Apple has not officially announced the iPhone 18 series yet. Recent leaks have indicated a possible unveiling on September 8 or 9, with the lineup expected to include the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max, and the company’s first foldable phone, which is rumored to be named the iPhone Ultra.
