The Algerian national team achieved a thrilling 2-1 win against Jordan in their World Cup 2026 match held at Levi's Stadium in California, USA.

Jordan opened the scoring in the 36th minute through Nizar Al-Rashdan, who converted a powerful shot inside the penalty area following an excellent pass from Mousa Al-Tamari. Despite Algeria's intense pressure, Jordan maintained their 1-0 lead at halftime.

In the second half, Algeria increased their offensive efforts and managed to equalize in the 69th minute with a header by Nadhir Ben Bouali from a corner kick. Algeria then secured the winning goal in the 82nd minute when Amin Gueri successfully followed up inside the penalty area.

The final minutes saw strong pressure from Jordan, highlighted by Algerian goalkeeper Luka Zidane's save of a clear chance in the 89th minute. The referee added seven minutes of stoppage time, but the score remained unchanged.
