Washington announced it will offer a reward of $20 million along with the possibility of providing alternative residence in exchange for obtaining information about the Iranian nuclear program, at a time when President Donald Trump reaffirmed that Tehran is eager to conclude an agreement to end the war, according to "Agence France-Presse".

The US Central Command "CENTCOM" stated in a release published on the "X" platform that the US State Department's "Rewards for Justice" program "offers a reward of up to $20 million, with the possibility of resettlement, for information regarding the Iranian nuclear program, including its facilities, equipment, and associated individuals, such as those working in scientific circles."

The program was established in 1984 with the aim of providing financial amounts in exchange for information that helps protect American lives and interests.

In its statement regarding the reward, the US State Department noted that "Iran's non-compliance with the safeguards agreement with the International Atomic Energy Agency" deprived the agency of information related to Iran's production and stockpile of key components, such as centrifuges.
