Egypt's football team continues preparations for the 2026 World Cup match against Australia, with Mohamed Salah participating partially in training after a muscle injury.

Egypt's national football team is progressing with its preparations for the upcoming match against Australia, scheduled to take place at Dallas Stadium in the United States on Friday, as part of the round of 32 in the 2026 World Cup.
On Wednesday night, the Egyptian Football Association shared video footage of the training session held at Gonzaga University’s stadium in Spokane, Washington, through its social media platforms.
The Egyptian Football Association announced that former Liverpool player Mohamed Salah took part in part of the training session, signaling an improvement in his health condition after previously suffering from pain in his hamstring muscle.
Midfielder Hamdi Fathi also participated in the group training, while defender Abdelmoneim and fullback Ahmed Fattouh engaged in therapeutic exercises.
Later on Wednesday, the Egyptian national team's delegation will travel to Dallas, Texas, to prepare for their match against the Australian team, known as the "Kangaroos."
If Egypt secures a victory, it will face either the reigning champion Argentina or Cape Verde in the round of 16.
