Panama Becomes Fifth Team Eliminated from 2026 World Cup
Panama lost 1-0 to Croatia in the 2026 World Cup group stage, becoming the fifth team to exit the tournament.

Panama was defeated by Croatia with a score of 1-0 in a match held at BMO Field on Wednesday, during the second round of group stage matches at the 2026 World Cup.
The only goal of the match was scored by Ante Budimir in the 54th minute, who placed the ball into the net from inside the penalty area.
Following this result, Croatia ranked third in Group 12 with 3 points.
Panama ended up in last place without any points, resulting in their elimination from the World Cup hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
Panama is the fifth team to be eliminated from the tournament, following the exits of Haiti, Turkey, and Jordan.
