Barrack: New US Strike on Iran by Weekend Not Ruled Out
US envoy Tom Barrack did not rule out a new American strike on Iran over the weekend, while President Trump stated that Washington is holding constructive talks with Tehran.

US envoy Tom Barrack did not rule out a new American strike on Iran during the upcoming weekend, while President Donald Trump announced that Washington is conducting constructive talks with Tehran, affirming that it will not attack before the midterm congressional elections.
Barrack said, in an interview on "Friday Podcast," that Trump repeatedly made room for reaching an agreement, but Tehran used the Strait of Hormuz as a bargaining chip.
He added that the US administration is no longer interested in the issue of "regime change," noting that it has shown openness to dialogue at several junctures, without ruling out a new strike during the weekend.
