Donald Trump unveils new performers for Freedom 250 event
Donald Trump disclosed the updated roster of artists scheduled to perform at the Freedom 250 event following the cancellation of the initial concerts. He also announced plans to hold a rally on June 24.
On his social media platform, Truth Social, Trump stated, “On Wednesday, June 24th, at 7 P.M., in magnificent Washington, D.C., now totally beautified, and one of the Safest Cities anywhere in the World, and in celebration of our Country’s 250 Year History, we will be bringing you, LIVE, the Greatest Rally, EVER! It will be special at every level — A Rally to end all Rallies!”
The President emphasized that the event would not require artists to be successful, criticizing the singers previously approached for the event by calling them “no talent.” He identified Lee Greenwood, known for “God Bless the USA,” and Christopher Macchio as the main performers for the rally.
In addition, Trump mentioned that military bands would contribute special performances, including the U.S. Army Band, Armed Forces Choir, United States Marine Band, and the Joint Armed Forces Chorus. He declared that he would be the primary act of the rally. Earlier, Trump wrote, “We should have a giant MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN RALLY, for 250, instead of having overpriced singers, who nobody wants to hear, whose music is boring, and yet who do nothing but complain.”
