Al-Quds Bank issued a statement reassuring customers over concerns of client fund theft following the mysterious disappearance of an Israeli bank employee and her daughter in Vienna.

Issued a statement to its clients, "Al-Quds Bank" reassures them regarding concerns about theft of client funds, after the disappearance of two Israelis—a bank employee and her daughter—in Vienna.
The statement from Al-Quds Bank came after its share price dropped by more than 3% on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange amid the mystery surrounding the disappearance of the employee and her daughter, alongside reports of financial suspicions shaking the market.
Mali Yehalom (50 years old) and her daughter Leial (23 years old) have been missing since last Friday in the Austrian capital.
According to the Austrian website "Hoytah," the Mossad is involved in the investigation into the disappearance of the two Israelis.
In turn, Israeli police stated there are indications that the two women were not kidnapped, and it is likely they left their apartment voluntarily.
The bank said in the statement: "In light of a thorough and comprehensive review conducted by the bank, we firmly confirm that there is no concern regarding the theft of Al-Quds Bank clients' funds. Client funds are secure and protected, and are held and managed in accordance with legal provisions, mandatory procedures, and banking supervision systems."
The bank also confirmed that "all operations are carried out on client accounts as usual. Additionally, banking oversight and regulatory systems are functioning normally."
