Netanyahu: I Ordered Mossad and Military to Work on Overthrowing Iranian Regime
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated he instructed the Mossad and military to work toward toppling Iran's government, citing a chance to secure Israel's future.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said today, Sunday, that he issued instructions to the Mossad and the army to work on overthrowing the Iranian regime.
He affirmed in an interview with Hebrew Channel 14: "I have issued my instructions to the Mossad and the Israeli army to topple the Iranian regime. We have an opportunity to ensure a bright future for the State of Israel. We are trying by all means to hide this real question from you - who will guarantee the future of the Land of Israel?"
Netanyahu justified his decision by saying that "Iran is like a wounded scorpion that may deliver a final sting and strike us."
The Israeli prime minister's remarks come just days before elections that could oust his government.
On Friday, US President Donald Trump said Washington might carry out another military operation against Iran.
He clarified: "We may conduct another limited round of Operation Epic Fury, or Iran reaches an agreement with us."
US Ambassador and Special Envoy Tom Barrack had earlier today stated that a new US military strike against Iran was possible during the current weekend, while simultaneously confirming that Washington still keeps the door open for reaching a diplomatic deal with Tehran.
Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ismail Baghaei said today, Sunday, that his country is prepared to handle all potential scenarios, including defending itself against any aggression, stressing that the United States' insistence on its unilateral demands does not mean closing the door to diplomacy for Tehran.
