American sources confirmed that the Iranian proposal sets a one-month deadline for negotiations regarding reopening the Strait of Hormuz, ending the American naval blockade, and establishing a permanent end to the war in Iran and Lebanon.

Two informed sources told "Axios" that according to the Iranian proposal, only after such an agreement is reached will an additional month of negotiations be launched to try and reach an agreement on the nuclear program, according to what two sources reported.

US President Donald Trump told reporters on Saturday that he might order new military action against Iran if it "misbehaves."

Trump's statements came while the United States and Iran are still exchanging drafts of a framework agreement to end the war, and Trump is also still seriously considering issuing an order for new military action against Iran to try and break the current stalemate.

When Trump was asked if he would order new strikes, he said: "If they misbehave, if they do something bad — but now, we'll see. It's possible that could happen, certainly."
