Iran's Parliament Speaker: Strait of Hormuz Will Only Open Under Iranian Terms
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf stated the Strait of Hormuz will not open except through Iranian arrangements, rejecting US threats.

Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, affirmed that the Strait of Hormuz will only be opened under Iranian arrangements and not due to American threats. He emphasized that Washington must bear the consequences of breaking its commitments.
In a message posted on the platform X, Ghalibaf stated that the United States has yet to learn that bullying and breaking promises will no longer go unpunished. He warned clearly, "If you strike, you will receive strikes in return."
He further cautioned against futile confusion, saying, "Do not stumble blindly, or you will sink further: the Strait of Hormuz will only open through Iranian arrangements, not American threats."
